More Resilient Children
About our Psychosocial Support Services
Our priority is to provide psychosocial support to children affected by war and displacement. We aim to reach them promptly after attacks or forced displacement, delivering First Psychosocial Aid to help them recover, build resilience, and regain a sense of normalcy.
Using sports, recreational programs, and guided emotional support, our activities are delivered in accessible, child-friendly settings—including schools, community centers, and via our mobile library units—supported by Child Guardians and local partners.
What Makes Us Stand Out
At Child Guardians, psychosocial support is not a stand-alone service—it is integrated into our holistic child protection model, tailored to each child’s emotional and developmental needs.
- Individualized Support Children in need of extra care receive individualized support and follow-up from trained MHPSS workers and service providers.
- Pre- and Post-Assessments All activities are monitored through pre- and post-assessments to ensure measurable improvements in well-being and readiness to resume daily activities like school.
Our Growing Reach
We offer specialized PSS programs for children aged 6–17, using evidence-based methods such as:
- Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Including: “Now, I Am Stronger,” “Be Ready, Be Strong,” and “Survival Strategies.”
- For caregivers of children aged 3 to 8 we provide programs that help manage crisis-related stress and promote positive parent-child interactions.
