Our Mental Health Program

Our Mental Health Team is committed to aiding children and their families in recovery and resilience-building. We follow best practices from the World Health Organization’s Technical Working Group on Mental Health under the health sector, ensuring all interventions are guided by international standards.

Non-Specialised Structured Support

Provides basic mental health care for children and caregivers who have limited access to services. Includes:

  • Initial consultations
  • Support groups
  • Counselling sessions led by trained Psychosocial Workers (PSWs)

Specialised Structured Support

Advanced care delivered by trained mental health physicians for children experiencing severe symptoms. Includes:

  • Clinical assessments
  • Tailored individual interventions
  • Counselling and medication where necessary, based on medical guidance

All interventions are child-centered and adapted to each case in consultation with mental health professionals.

We offer specialized PSS programs for children aged 6–17, using evidence-based methods such as:

  • Custom intervention plans Each child’s care is guided by a custom intervention plan developed by mental health experts
  • A Case Management Approach We apply a case management approach, ensuring a personalized, structured pathway for healing
  • Transportation is provided Transportation is provided to ensure children can safely access care
  • Psycho-educational support Caregivers receive psycho-educational support, including workshops and stress relief strategies
  • Community events We organize community events to encourage healthy family relationships and strengthen support systems
