The first Arabic child protection magazine for children aged 7-14, delivering safety messages through stories, songs, and crafts – 180,000 copies distributed to 20,000 children across Syria.

Launched in 2012, Tayyara Warak is the first Arabic child protection magazine designed for children aged 7 to 14. Developed by volunteers and child protection experts at Child Guardians, the magazine delivers age-appropriate messages on safety, resilience, and emotional well-being through stories, songs, riddles, and hands-on activities.
Between 2013 and 2016, we produced, printed, and distributed over 180,000 copies, reaching more than 20,000 children inside Syria — many of whom had little or no access to formal education or child-friendly spaces.
Whether you're a teacher, designer, writer, translator, or simply someone who cares deeply about children's rights, there's a meaningful way for you to contribute to our life-changing work.
