Born in 1991, Riyad discovered his passion for human rights, particularly children’s rights, when he volunteered with the Syrian Red Crescent in 2008.
Riyad has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, specializing in Human Resources Management, and a Master Degree in business development and internationalization. Since his graduation, he has shifted his focus to enhancing management modules for Non-Profit Organizations.
With over 15 years of experience in managing NGOs, Riyad has served as a consultant for Syrian civil society organizations in the fields of Management, Human Resources, and strategy.
Throughout his career, his main focus has remained on children’s rights within the context of Syria.
Riyad firmly believes that protecting children’s basic rights is the foundation of any healthy society. He constantly reminds his colleagues at HRS that they are human rights activists first and foremost, before being employees.
